What we provide
IsoSense currently offers two distinct series of OCD's. The series are distinguished by their current range and packaging, while featuring nearly identical performance characteristics. They are both Hall effect type current sensors with a single digital output factory programmed to go low when a given current threshold is exceeded. Their performance features include:
- Fast response time, 1µS typical
- Wide operating temperature range, -40 °C to 125 °C
- Miniature package size designed for printed circuit board mounting.
- Open collector digital output ideal for interfacing to control circuitry
- Output isolated from the sensed current allowing currents at different potentials to be sensed
- Low price, typically less than resistive shunt implementations
